Well what can I say other than I bleed black and gold. A tad sad they didn't make the playoffs but I look forward to next year. I had a big huge ball of gold yarn that I use for very tiny embellishments and wanted to do something bigger with it. I kept thinking man this is an ugly yellow lol, after getting the body and 1st ear flap done it hit me what to do next. This is a work in progress but I'm so thrilled with the results so far I thought I would snap a pic before I'm done. if I haven't said this already I love making infant hats! They go so quick and look adorable on sweet little babies.

Tiny Valentine...
I don't know why every year I'm shocked that on December 26th all the stores Christmas goods are in a cart 50% off and Valentines day has taken over. I figured now was as good as time as any to make a Valentines day inspired hat. I love making infant hats they are so cute and tiny and work up so quickly. it's also a great way to use up yarn that isn't enough for bigger projects. The down side is only that when one is complete for about 35 seconds my ovaries twitch and I think I want another baby. Then my teen and tween get into a cat fight and I quickly settle back into reality.

Getting busy...monkey
While I'm trying hard to work up a little stock of items for my future store I couldn't pass up making a sock monkey hat for my littlest girly when I came across this free pattern at Repeat crafter me. I wanted a girly version so I used baby pink over the dark red color yarn. I am going to add some hoop earrings to the little ears too. She was very excited when she came home from church tonight to see that it was done. I can see after making it that it needs some of my own little tweaks and such because my kids all either have my huge head or hubbies Adam Sandler head lol. The little one leans a little more Adam Sandler ;) Either way it turned out pretty cute and she is thrilled with it.

New Store coming soon
Hi, My name is Michelle. I am a mother to 4 girls and married to my best friend. We have a sweet pooch named Jax and two ornery cats Sammy & Izzy. I have tons of hobbies and want to share them with others via my etsy store. I also love taking pictures, reading books and blogging. I plan to open my store "Table for Six" on Etsy in spring/summer of 2013. I will be using this blog to share my works, life and hobbies with friends, family and followers! I do hope you enjoy my blog and store and will spread the word. I will be hosting giveaways and many sales when my store gets up off the ground. I look forward to sharing this new venture with you!
Today's project was a infant Minnie Mouse Inspired hat. I love how it turned out and a certain little 4 year old is waiting on the edge of her seat waiting for mommy to make her one too!
